Camping at Le Touroulet in the Dordogne

 

You cannot get a better location for our campsite. We are located in a quiet valley that has its own lake, stream and woodland in the heart of rural France in the north of the Dordogne region.

 

We have 10 electrical points for caravans and tents needing electricity. We can get electricity to most places on the campsite and along the riverside.

 

There is a modern shower block providing modern facilities and British WCs. Push button hot showers, shaving points in the male section and hairdryer points in the female section are included in the price.

 

Dishwashing and laundry sinks are situated at the front of the block.

A laundry service is available on request.

 

 

We now have an Outside Undercover Fully Equipped Kitchen which  will be available for campers use especially on the odd rainy day. We expect to have completed this by middle of June.

 
The Pitches

We don't confine our pitches to hedged areas and, as we have 5.5 hectares of land, each tent and caravan has masses of space. We will work with you to ensure you have the best area possible to suit your needs. We have exceptional quiet areas at the far side of the lake which are a perfect retreat.

 

We have beautiful pitches along the river, ideal for families and where you have the whole field in front for you and your children to spend time.

 

We have pitches along the river and away from the river closer to the amenities, the restaurant and the swimming pool. These are also accessible to caravans. No tent or caravan is allowed to park close to another unless by request. There is plenty of sun and shade available in all areas.
